In an effort to support UK institutional growth, Investec Asset Management has appointed Stephen Lee as sales director within its UK client group.
Lee joins Investec Asset Management from UBS Global Asset Management where he was head of UK institutional business development.
Commenting on the appointment, David Aird, managing director, UK client group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lee to Investec Asset Management. With recent wins in our global equity, emerging market debt, emerging market equities and diversified growth strategies, he joins us at a time when we are seeing unprecedented new mandate wins from the consultant-driven and direct UK institutional market.”
