BNY Mellon has appointed Timothy Keaney as CEO of Investment Services as the firm aligns its asset servicing, corporate trust, depositary receipts, global markets, global collateral services, broker dealer services and Pershing businesses under his leadership. The new role will come into effect January 1 2013.

Keaney is currently CEO of asset servicing and will retain his other role of vice chairman under his new position. He will continue to report to BNY Mellon chairman and CEO Gerald Hassell.
