TradeChannel has created a Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) solution that is ready for early testing against REGIS-TR.

TradeChannel expanded its collaboration with REGIS-TR to provide the end-to-end reporting solution for SFTR requirements.

Mikkel Mördrup, CEO of TradeChannel, said: “REGIS-TR has been a highly valuable partner to us for many years. Their industry expertise and knowledge have been essential in providing our clients with insights to the ever-changing regulatory landscape.”

“We are happy to collaborate with REGIS-TR in providing a solution for SFTR. With European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) we saw initial transaction matching reconciliation breaks, that we also expect to see with SFTR.”

“Having an end-to-end reporting solution with REGIS-TR as the endpoint provides for an efficient reconciliation process and ensuring our client's compliance.”

Irene Mermigidis, managing director, REGIS-TR, cited: “TradeChannel is a long-standing partner since the early days of the entry into force of the EMIR reporting requirements.”

“Over the last five years, they have been a reliable partner and the level of satisfaction of our common clients is excellent. We look forward to extending the close relation with TradeChannel by another transaction based regulation, SFTR.”

“The reporting requirements under SFTR will be much more complex than any other transaction-based regulation, but due to the highly flexible platform, as well as their proven professionalism, we are confident that TradeChannel will continue supporting our common clients to comply with their regulatory reporting needs, after the implementation of SFTR.”
