Post-trade services provider Clearstream has opened a new, centralised office in Cork, Ireland.
According to the Deutsche Boerse Group subsidiary, the move reflects its growing funds business.
Clearstream staff first moved to Cork in June but were based in two smaller locations at the Airport Business Park and Eastgate Business Park.
The new office in Navigation Square (NSQ1), in the city centre, brings those operations under one roof.
In addition to Deutsche Boerse Group’s fund processing operations and product development activities, the space will also house administrative functions.
In total, around 600 Deutsche Boerse Group employees are expected to be based there Cork by 2020.
David Brosnan, head of Clearstream Global Funds Operations and the Cork location, said: “The new central office provides a platform for our dynamic and innovative staff to work and collaborate with each other.”
‘With its central location, NSQ1 not only enhances our international reputation as a centre of excellence but also attracts the best of talent to our already amazing team.”
