Pirum has completed an all staff pandemic test in light of the emerging threat the coronavirus (COVID-19) according to leaked documents.
In light of the escalating coronavirus situation, Pirum Systems have been reviewing their business continuity plan.
Pirum Systems completed a full test of its pandemic contingency plan on Wednesday, this involved 85 employees working remotely in North America and the UK.
The test included supporting clients, their services via telephone and email, as well as performing day-to-day system maintenance and projects. The test success criteria was 80 percent capability and they achieved 97.65 percent which Pirum deemed as an acceptable result.
Minor issues were identified and corrected on the day which means Pirum are well prepared for any pandemic eventuality.
Pirum has a comprehensive business continuity plan (BCP) in place to ensure they are able to provide an efficient service to their clients. Pirum’s BCP is part of the operating model to ensure service availability in the event of a disaster.
Pirum’s contingency plan covers all known eventualities and ensures likely incident scenarios are tested regularly and Pirum continually monitor for emerging threats to the business.
As a result of recent events, Pirum has completed a full and in-depth review of its contingency plans, processes and procedures.
