Northern Trust hires securities lending veteran

Northern Trust has recruited former International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) manager Claire Davis as a specialist product manager.

Davis, who is based in London and started her new role earlier this month, focusing primarily on the US bank’s securities lending products.

She reports to Jeffrey Benner, Northern Trust’s lead product manager.

Davis joins from J.P. Morgan where she served as vice president and securities lending product manager for just over three years.

Prior to that, she worked at ISLA as project and relationship manager collaborating with financial institutions and regulators for almost 3 years.

She also served at State Street for eight years, where she began as a client services representative and was promoted to client relationship manager in securities finance.

Davis began her career as a relationship management assistant in global custody services at BNY Mellon in 2004.
