Deutsche Bank’s Michael Tramonte heads to TradeStation

Deutsche Bank’s head of equity trading Michael Tramonte has left the bank after more than a decade.

Tramonte has taken on a new role as director, securities lending, at TradeStation, an international broker-dealer that offers a stocks, futures and forex trading facilities in 125 markets through its RadarScreen and The Matrix platforms.

As part of his new remit, Tramonte, who is based in New York, aims to expand the Florida-based brokerage’s counterparty relationships by leveraging his more than 10 years of experience with the German bank’s agency lending team.

He will also contribute to the continued growth of its securities lending offering in the online brokerage space.

Tramonte joined Deutsche Bank from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he served as an analyst under Tim Smollen, who went on to become Deutsche Bank’s global head of agency lending and re-hire several of his Dresdner team.
