Private equity and real estate asset manager EQT has selected Hazeltree, a treasury management and portfolio finance solutions provider, to supply its treasury, cash and debt management technology.
Built in collaboration with industry players, Hazeltree Private Markets increases operational efficiencies through centralising capital activity into an integrated treasury management framework.
EQT’s project lead Tom Spicer says: “To scale our treasury management — consistently and optimally — requires taking advantage of leading-edge, private equity-specific technology from Hazeltree.
“We are looking forward to the operational efficiencies and increased controls that Hazeltree offers.”
Hazeltree CEO Sameer Shalaby says: “Hazeltree Private Markets was built to meet the needs of private fund managers of all sizes and strategies. That said, we are excited to add another ‘Top Ten’ private equity firm to our client community.”
EQT has €67 billion in assets under management across 26 active funds and EQT IX recently closed with €15.6 billion, marking it as a top ten global private equity player.
