EquiLend has announced enhancements to its Next Generation Trading (NGT) platform, which will see newly added benchmarks and improved GC validations functionality.
The recent changes will allow clients to exercise more control over their daily trading activities, according to the New York-based securities lending execution and post-trade specialist.
Additional benchmarks including Euro short-term rate (ESTR), Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR), SANOR and more are available in support of the Euro Overnight Index Average (EONIA) retirement pending for January.
With the new general collateral (GC) validations functionality, borrowers may now specify the maximum GC level expected on a trade. EquiLend will validate that no tickets are filled above the level specified by the borrower.
