Transcend, a provider of analytics, optimisation and automation for collateral, liquidity and funding, has expanded its board of advisors with several financial veterans.

Founder and former CEO of Advent Software Stephanie Dimarco, 28-year veteran of Goldman Sachs John Willian, and ex-global treasurer and president of BNY Mellon N.A Scott Freidenrich, will join Transend as advisory board members following the firm's global expansion.

The advisors will join Jon Beyman, former managing director and global head of operations and technology of Citigroup’s Institutional Client Group, who joined the board in 2015.

After recently stretching its influence to Europe, Transcend now has ambitions to further expand the business into Asia. The new board members have experience in global operations, which Transcend believes will aid the firm in its mission.

In the past three years, Transcend has established connectivity across all major triparty agents and central counterparties to provide a holistic optimisation platform for the industry.

The firm has also launched Eligibility Central, a unifying platform which aims to empower clients to accelerate critical collateral functionality such as optimisation or mobilisation.

Commenting on the announcement, Freidenrich says: "Transcend is a trendsetter, being the first to implement collateral optimisation across triparty agents, as well as providing insightful liquidity analytics.

“The industry needs this breadth and depth to serve traditional collateralised business areas, in addition to treasury departments and liquidity managers across sell- and buy-side institutions.”

Bimal Kadikar, founder and CEO of Transcend, adds: “We have carefully selected our advisory team, and the expertise they bring to the table will help drive the next phase of growth for Transcend.

“We have accomplished a lot in the last few years and we are looking forward to expanding our boundaries with the help of our new advisors.”
