Women in Securities Finance (WISF) has welcomed Elaine Hannigan and Megan Fritz as New York chapter leads.
Hannigan and Fritz will join current New York chapter lead Nancy Allen, head of EquiLend data and analytics solutions, who has been leading the chapter since March 2023.
Both new appointees bring a wealth of securities finance and leadership experience to this position, where they will further WISF’s mission to create a community to foster
connections and promote the advancement of women in the securities finance industry.
Fritz is currently Barclays chief of staff for liquid financing. She previously served at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America.
Hannigan is positioned at Scotiabank as director of prime services, with previous roles at Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital.
Commenting on the appointments, Allen says: “I am very excited to build out the New York team with Elaine and Megan. Both women have extensive securities finance experience and complement the existing leadership team nicely. We have big plans so watch this space for great things to come for WISF in New York!”
The WISF group was formed by Elaine (Elaina) Kim Benfield, Arianne M. Collette and Jill Rathgeber in 2018, and has expanded to form chapters in New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto and London.
