Boulton joins BrokerTec as director 08 January 2024 US Reporter: Sophie Downes

CME Group has appointed Jamie Boulton as director of BrokerTec Quote US.
Boulton brings extensive experience within the repo markets, joining the firm from Tradeweb, where he worked for fixed income liquidity solution DealerWeb. Prior to this, he worked for BrokerTec between 2014 and 2021.
Previously, he held prime brokerage and government securities positions at Barclays between 1999 and 2014.
The hire follows the appointment of Brian O’Neill to manager of BrokerTec Quote US in October.
O’Neill joined BrokerTec from GFI, where he held a 17-year tenure as a fixed income repo sales trader.
Based in New York, Boulton and O’Neill will focus on the expansion of the BrokerTec Quote dealer-to-client RFQ venue in the US.
They will report to Jamie O'Hara, senior director of BrokerTec Quote.
