Premier Global Securities Lending released a statement announcing that Peter Economou, Paul Lynch, Suzanne Lee, Michael McAuley, William Locke, Oberon Knapp, Larry Albaugh and Michael Landolfini are joining the company as part of the management committee today. With the addition of these industry veterans, Premier Global Securities Lending will create a more efficient and transparent next generation securities lending platform - for our clients by providing highly customised service, innovative pricing and better state-of-the-art transaction analysis and benchmarking.
As reported in the press, State Street has sued Premier Global, along with its co-founder (Craig Starble) and two employees (Peter Economou and Paul Lynch).
Premier Global believes the law suit is meritless and rejects any wrongdoing adding that none of the employees who left State Street to join Premier Global had a non-compete and they intend to vigorously defend the lawsuit.
