Thompson new chairman of ISLA

Richard Thompson, senior vice president at Northern Trust, has been elected chairman of the International Securities Lending Association.
Thompson takes over from Blackrock's James Templeman. He was elected at the organisation's AGM earlier this month, along with a new board of directors. The board now comprises of:
