Euroclear has settled with former employee Saheed Awan ahead of an employment tribunal.
Awan had accused Euroclear of breaching UK Financial Conduct Authority regulations, constructive unfair dismissal and claims regarding whistle blowing, following his resignation in November last year.
Euroclear and Awan settled the case on 2 October before the employment tribunal proceedings were due to begin.
Awan was the head of collateral services and securities finance at Euroclear. He left the financial services company after three years’ service.
He declined to comment on the terms of the settlement.
A Euroclear spokesperson also declined to comment on the case.
