Final two FinTution sec lending courses left for 2015

FinTution, in partnership with the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA), has provided high-level tutorials for new entrants to the securities lending industry all over Europe since 2011.
The course, which has always received 100 percent satisfaction rate, is tailored to senior legal and compliance people to the fresh-faced new recruit in sec lending departments.
Banks and major financial institutions in London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Zurich, Frankfurt have embraced the training spirit by supporting the course and hosting each of the 31 courses over the past four years.
The course is held in an intimate and informal setting to allow for discussion provide an optimal learning environment is led by industry veterans such as consultant Sarah Nicholson.
Nicholson, previously global head of securities finance at Aviva, offers a comprehensive knowledge of the securities lending market with anecdotal real life examples that give vital context to the theoretical information.
Trainees’ learning is assisted with a detailed handbook provided by ISLA, which gives an entire course breakdown as well as the latest securities lending report by ISLA and suggestions of further reading and sources of regulatory and market information.
Over the course of the day trainees are taken from the very basics of how securities lending works and who and why people involve themselves and their assets in the market, all the way through the myriad of regulatory acronyms (stopping regularly for refreshments) until the entire class is confortable with every aspect of the industry.
