Hutchinson and Colvill launch sec finance consultancy

Peter Hutchinson, previously of Aviva Investors, has teamed up with Richard Colvill, previously of MX Consulting Services, to become a founding partner of a new securities finance consultancy.
Hutchinson left his position head of control and development for securities finance in October to focus on the new venture, Consolo.
Colvill was previously a senior consultant at MX Consulting Services for seven years and a business analyst at Morley Fund Management.
The new company, Consolo, will provide specialised business and systems consulting services for the securities finance industry.
The new consultancy will specialise in agency lending, including non-cash lending, repo, cash and collateral management, programme and project management, regulation, SWIFT and straight-through processing, third-party lending, and back office outsourcing.
Colvill said: “The complexities of securities finance and the new regulatory environment means that development requires in-depth market knowledge to be delivered successfully.”
