Goldman Sachs appointed by Thrivent for agent lending

Thrivent Financial, a Minnesota-based investment manager, has appointed Goldman Sachs as it lending agent for its securities lending activities.

The bank will begin lending on Thrivent’s behalf later this year.

Thrivent boasted more than $116 billion in assets under management/advisement as of the end of 2016.

The firm predominantly invests through mutual funds that are active in both the equity and fixed income markets.
