OneChicago cleared 889,659 transactions for January 2018, an increase of 14 percent year-over-year.

The upturn marks a change of fortune for the exchange, which saw a significant decrease in cleared securities lending activity in both November and December.

For December 2017, OneChicago saw a slight slump in transactions, with under 25 percent drop off trading volumes.

In November, the securities finance exchange saw 866,510 trades for the month — a volume dropped of 6 percent year-on-year.

Though in March transaction volume hit 1.47 million and continued to rise in September with an increase of 34 percent year-over-year.
