HKEX adds additional securities eligible for short selling

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), has added additional securities, eligible for short selling.
The change will take effect from 9 November 2018.
Some 23 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 40 existing designated securities will be removed from the list.
The total number of designated securities for short selling will be 929 after the revision.
The securities to be added to the list includes Jacobson Pharma, Differ Group and Tian Lun Gas.
