EquiLend stake sold to NBC

J.P. Morgan is selling one of its two stakes in EquiLend to the National Bank of Canada (NBC).
Commenting on the sale, Brian Lamb, CEO of EquiLend, said he was "thrilled” to welcome NBC to its ownership group and board of directors.
Lamb added: “NBC is a strong supporter of fintech and automation in the securities finance market, and as such we couldn’t ask for a more fitting partner.”
“We look forward to working with all of our owners and 130 other clients in the global securities finance market as we continue to deliver innovative new technology solutions.”
