Treasury services provider Hazeltree has secured Artemis, a UK-based fund manager with £27.5 billion under management (as of 31 January), as a user of its securities finance and collateral manager solutions.
The collateral manager platform streamlines and aggregates Artemis’ over-the-counter (OTC) collateral management activities to ensure it is in-line with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) agreements, says Hazeltree.
Meanwhile, Hazeltree Securities Finance aims to offer full visibility of the global securities lending market to benchmark performance and efficiently execute transactions, in order to help its clients optimise returns in one centralised solution.
Hazeltree’s president and CEO Sameer Shalaby says that operational efficiencies and control are core to its offering and that equipping Artemis with these tools will allow the fund manager to “effectively oversee its collateral process and to deliver value in terms of fees”.
