Securities finance markets around the world are evolving and the industry’s media must grow with them.
After a decade covering the global securities lending industry as it becomes increasingly interconnected with other financing markets, more heavily regulated and better supported by technology and service providers, the time has come for Securities Lending Times (SLT) to reflect those changes in itself.
To better represent the sophisticated market landscape we now live, SLT is “levelling up” to become Securities Finance Times (SFT).
As much as things change they stay the same and SFT will continue to bring daily news and in-depth market analysis through its new website; free to read, of course.
Our digital-first approach will ensure that breaking news reaches readers as it happens, while our bi-weekly digital magazine will offer an in-depth review of current events, alongside topical interviews with market leaders, informative data analysis, and insightful features on the key topics of the moment.
Magazines will also appear in print at all major securities finance events.
New additions to our website include an expanded Education section, now with downloadable factsheets on key industry topics, upcoming training courses and a brand new glossary to decrypt the alphabet soup of industry acronyms and complex terminology.
SFT also boasts a Multimedia section that offers a selection of market-leading podcasts, as well as video interviews and content from the latest Securities Finance Technology Symposium.
All these sections will continue to grow so check in regularly to avoid missing out.
Finally, SFT is welcoming a newcomer to the Black Knight Media (BKM) product suite in the form of BKM Creative, a specialist digital design agency that is ideally placed to service the creative needs of the financial services industry.
Justin Lawson, managing director of BKM and publisher of SFT, says: “As the leading source of exclusive news and in-depth content for the securities finance market and having celebrated the publication's 10th anniversary earlier this year, the time felt right for a slight refresh.
"We hope the new easy-to-navigate, clean website, the new name and the additional resources will continue to be an educational tool for the industry going forward."
