Sinara Group extends international coverage through Cyprus-registered holding company

Sinara Group, a Russian investment company, is creating an international financial holding, Sinara Financial Corporation, as part of its strategy to expand its investment division.
Registered in Cyprus, Sinara Financial will offer investment management, broker services, research and advisory in international and domestic markets.
For corporate customers, this will include structured finance, lending services, bond issuance, prime brokerage, M&A support, advisory and research.
To support this offer digitally, Sinara Financial Corporation will launch an electronic platform for investment banking and wealth management services.
The holding company aims to acquire a number of brokerage companies in the EU and the UK, providing access for Russian clients to global financial markets and offering services for western investors wishing to extend their activities in Russia and CIS markets.
Roman Lokhov, will be CEO of the holding company, having previously served as chief executive of BCS Global Markets and at Otkritie Capital LLC.
Alexander Pumpyansky, chair of the board of directors of Sinara Group, will also become chair of the board for Sinara Financial Corporation.
The prime brokerage division for foreign institutional clients will be managed by Dr Evgeny Kunts, previously managing director at BCS Global Markets. Audrey Faveeuw will co-ordinate international prime brokerage activities, having previously led the international prime brokerage sales division at BCS Global Markets.
Sinara Group is a diversified investment company with holdings in transport, manufacturing industries, real estate, financial services and other sectors.
