Hazeltree secures strategic investment from FINTOP Capital and Hamilton Lane

Hazeltree has secured a US$14 million strategic investment, following an investment funding round led by FINTOP Capital and Hamilton Lane.
Hamilton Lane provides solutions to institutional and private wealth investors and operates in offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
The venture capital firm FINTOP has over US$700 million in committed capital across five funds, and focuses on early-stage fintech companies. The company partners with entrepreneurs to advance the financial services sector.
Rick Kushel, co-founder and managing partner at FINTOP Capital, will join Hazeltree’s board.
Commenting on the funding round, Kushel says: “We were greatly impressed by the Hazeltree business and the strength of its model in the alternative asset management space, particularly hedge funds and private equity.”
Douglas Haynes, executive chair of Hazeltree, adds: “Amid market volatility and economic uncertainty, this investment affirms Hazeltree’s powerful and resilient business model.”
