Pardeep Cassells has been chosen to represent AccessFintech for the HM Treasury’s Accelerated Settlement Taskforce.
The taskforce was launched by the Chancellor in December 2022 to investigate the UK’s potential for faster settlement of financial trades.
The taskforce will be chaired by Charlie Geffen, current senior adviser at consultancy Flint Global and former chair of The International Stock Exchange Group.
Cassells has served as head of securities and claims products at AccessFintech since July 2022. Prior to that, she was the company’s head of financial products. She began her tenure with AccessFintech in 2019 as client engagement manager.
Commenting on her new responsibility, Cassells says: “I'm excited to begin contributing to market dialogue and understanding as a member of the Accelerated Settlement Taskforce for HM Treasury, representing AccessFintech.
“Looking forward to all of the work and discussion to come, as well as collaborating with so many industry superstars!”
