Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank (apoBank) has selected software provider Regnology to operate its regulatory reporting systems.
The German cooperative primary bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Regnology to achieve increased operational performance.
ApoBank is a long-time client of Regnology’s Abacus banking regulatory reporting solution and will begin its transition to Regnology’s managed services in February 2023.
Regnology’s managed services offer a regulatory-as-a-service (raaS) delivery model, which aims to provide application management and scalable infrastructure services, while also handling hosting.
The model is designed to provide a predictable cost of ownership based on a transparent subscription and support model, insulating customers against the cost of regulatory change, according to Regnology.
Commenting on the partnership, Johannes Kermer, divisional director at ApoBank, says: “Regnology’s Abacus Banking platform has been at the heart of our regulatory reporting system since June 2020.
“The new generation platform opens a path of technological evolution. We see Regnology as a natural partner to help us reap its full benefits. With this extended collaboration, we will benefit from first-class expertise regulatory reporting with scaled-up service delivery.”
Maciej Piechocki, chief revenue officer at Regnology, adds: “We are delighted to support apoBank by furthering our regulatory reporting expertise with our outsourced operations capabilities.
“Regnology will help apoBank to achieve increased efficiency, infrastructure elasticity and controlled total cost of ownership, while keeping abreast of fast-evolving regulatory reporting requirements.”
