The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) and Pan Asia Securities Lending Association (PASLA) have published an overview of addendums and annexes for the Asia markets.
The document makes mention of the Korean Broker annex, Korean Securities Depository (KSD) annex, Malaysia addendum and Taiwan addendum, to name a few.
These selected addendums and annexes in the Asia market were added to ISLA’s legal opinions this year, which cover the use of the Global Master Securities Lending Agreement (GMSLA) in 64 jurisdictions.
The Korea Securities Finance Corporation (KSFC) annex and the Thailand addendum for onshore and offshore transactions are also covered within this document, but, unlike the previously listed annexes and addendums, are not covered within ISLA’s legal opinions.
The recently published overview supports the GMSLA documentation suite and can be used for specific securities or with counterparties incorporated in the jurisdictions covered.
