The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) Americas has welcomed three more new members.

This includes eSecLending, which is an independent third-party securities lending agent based in Boston, delivering tailored solutions to its clients.

Headquartered in Tokyo, with a network of branches around the globe, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) has also become a member of the association.

The Japanese bank offers commercial and trust banking, securities, asset management, and leasing services.

ISLA Americas has also onboarded BlackRock, a global asset manager and technology provider with offices in more than 40 countries across the world.

This announcement follows a number of financial institutions joining the association over the last few weeks.

Incorporated in May 2024, ISLA Americas is a non-profit industry association, representing the common interests of securities lending agents, borrowers, beneficial owners, institutional investors, and other market practitioners in the Americas region.
