The Securities Depository Centre Company (Edaa) has waived its one basis point trading fee on listed exchange traded funds (ETFs).

It comes in support of a decision made by the Qatar Stock Exchange to fully waive its trading fee on ETFs effective 16 March, and also to enhance market liquidity.

According to Edaa, the decision to waive its fee aligns with its commitment to foster market growth, encouraging ETF investments, and enhancing overall market efficiency.
