BNP Paribas appoints new director in Global Execution Services

BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking has appointed of Matthew Moran to the position of Director and senior equities sales-trader in the Global Execution Services (GES) group in New York. Moran is reporting to John Bohan, Managing Director and Head of GES, Americas.
Prior to BNP Paribas, Moran worked for ICAP where he covered asset managers and hedge funds on U.S. and International equities. Prior to ICAP, Moran spent 20 years with Morgan Stanley where he was an Executive Director and senior equities sales-trader who was instrumental in the growth of their U.S. cash equities business. For BNP Paribas, Moran now covers institutional and hedge fund clients and works closely with the Derivatives and Prime Brokerage groups.
Commenting on the appointment, Lionel Crassier, Head of Global Equities & Commodities Derivatives, said, "Matt's wealth of experience and outstanding client relationships will be crucial in supporting the continued build-out of the U.S. equities platform and is symbolic of our commitment to expanding our client coverage in the U.S."
