Amsterdam-based IMC, a prop trading firm, has hired Wim Den Hartog as co-head of its Chicago office, a position which will be made effective on 1 September.

Den Hartog previously worked for the Wall Street firm as managing director of execution and clearing.

The second co-head, Scott Knudsen, will be relocated from Hong Kong. Earlier this year IMC closed its Hong Kong office, with some staff relocating to IMC’s Sydney operations.
