Staunton bags BNY Mellon role

Brian Staunton is joining BNY Mellon’s global collateral services business on 18 March.
He will be managing director in the bank’s Derivatives360(SM) division, which is now a part of the global collateral services business.
Staunton will be based in London and will report to Ross Whitehill.
He previously worked at Union Bancaire Privée as a consultant. Before that, Staunton was head of securities finance at Citi.
He joined the bank in October 2004 as European product manager responsible for the securities finance business in EMEA.
Between 1997 and 2004 he worked for Deutsche Börse Group in London, formerly Clearstream Banking, where he was head of the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia for custody, clearing, securities lending and triparty repo.
