Gar Wood Securities has promoted Craig Gantar to senior vice president and sales manager.
Gantar joined Gar Wood in 2007 as a senior client service associate on the Gar Wood Pro Desk and worked directly with institutional clients and brokers.
In addition to the new sales manager position, he will continue to oversee the client and broker on-boarding process, which will continue to ensure a seamless transition for new clients.
"Gantar has done a great job in supporting our brokers and clients over the past 6 years, and I am confident that his experience, knowledge and relationships are a perfect fit for this newly formed position," said Bob Jersey, president and CEO of Gar Wood Securities.
"Gar Wood is fully committed to providing its independent brokers with cost-effective solutions that will allow them to efficiently grow and manage their businesses, and service their clients with the best-of-breed in trading tools and service."
