Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has welcomed Jean-Louis Bernardo as country head of South Africa.

Based in Johannesburg, Bernardo also becomes managing director of SGSS Johannesburg branch with regard to local regulators.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the business, Bernardo moves to Johannesburg from Russia, where he was previously the deputy head of SGSS in Russia.

Bernardo will replace Bertrand Blanchard and will report to Philippe Huerre, head of development for SGSS.
