All change at Nomura
22 May 2015 London

Nomura has shuffled the pack and added two new executives to its US prime finance team.
Ryan Donaldson has been hired as an executive director responsible for hedge fund financing, following 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held various financing roles in New York and Hong Kong. He started at Nomura on 18 May.
Walt Kingsberry has joined Nomura as a vice president, focusing on special situations. He was most recently an equity options trader at ED&F Man and started at Nomura in February.
In addition, as part of the consolidation of its prime brokerage platform, synthetic equities business and cash equity financing business, Nomura has relocated Peter Barry to New York.
Barry, an executive director, will be moving from the bank’s Hong Kong offices to concentrate on its North American hedge fund clients. He will report to George Rennick, head of prime finance sales and product in the Americas.
“Adding [Donaldson] and [Kingsberry] to our Americas team, both of whom are well known and respected in the industry, and relocating [Barry] is further evidence of our commitment in enhancing our multi-product prime client offering with an East to West focus," said Ben Challice, head of global prime finance at Nomura.
