Caplan and Kempton confirmed to leave Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank’s Daniel Caplan, head of global prime finance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa region, and Simon Kempton, managing director in prime finance for Europe, are leaving the bank, it has been confirmed.
Ashley Wilson, who joined Deutsche Bank in January 2014 as head of synthetic equities, is reportedly taking on Caplan’s responsibilities.
Wilson will report to Dixit Joshi, who oversees the business globally.
Caplan has been with Deutsche Bank since 2001, and Kempton since 2013.
Kempton moved to Deutsche Bank from Deutsche Asset Management where he was chief operating officer from 2000 to 2006.
Both Kempton and Caplan declined to comment on their departures.
