Former Deutsche Bank prime finance pair Simon Kempton and Daniel Caplan have moved to Citi.

Kempton has joined as Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) head of prime finance and will be responsible for driving the growth of Citi’s prime finance platform.

Caplan has taken up the role of EMEA head of investor services sales with a mandate to develop Citi’s regional sales and client executive strategy across all the bank’s investor services products.

Caplan will report to Alan Pace, global head of sales for investor services, and Murray Roos, who also moved to Citi from Deutsche Bank earlier this year in the newly-created role of global head of sales for equities and prime finance.

Okan Pekin, global head of investor services, said: “We are pleased to continue adding talented individuals of this caliber to the team.”

“These hires reflect our commitment to building an industry-leading investor services franchise by continuously enhancing our ability to provide our clients with consistent, best-in-class solutions across products and geographies.”
