Triad Securities has bolstered its prime brokerage sales team with three new hires.
The move is in response to increasing demand for its prime brokerage services.
The New York-based firm has netted Scott Daspin for its prime brokerage services sales team, along with Brandi Gatlin, who joined as director of institutional sales and trading and Kevin Heal as director of fixed income sales.
Daspin, previously of ConvergEx, brings two decades of experience in electronic trading, including global trading algorithms and strategies
“Triad is continuing to expand its market share in the hedge fund clearing business and clients find the value in our unique model for consensus calls on IPOs and secondaries,” said Larry Goldsmith, president of Triad Securities.
“Daspin, Gatlin and Heal will be fantastic additions to our team as they work to develop the largest group of new clients Triad has seen in two decades of offering prime services."
Gatlin, a veteran with 15 years of equity research sales and trading experience, was previously senior vice president for institutional sales at MLV & Co.
Heal, offers 25 years of experience in fixed income sales and was most recently vice president of business development and advisory at Callahan & Associates.
