BNY Mellon brings on McCarthy for ETFs

BNY Mellon has hired Jeff McCarthy as CEO of exchange-traded funds (ETF)
McCarthy will focus on leading and executing the strategy to drive expansion of the bank's ETF business, while contributing to the delivery of ETF solutions and working to develop partnerships for BNY Mellon within the industry.
He will report to Frank LaSalla, CEO of the bank’s global structured products and alternative investment services business.
McCarthy previously worked at NASDAQ where he served as vice president and head of exchange-traded product listings and trading.
Prior to this, McCarthy held ETF roles at Citigroup and Brown Brothers Harriman.
LaSalla commented: "Jeff McCarthy brings extensive experience in global ETF platforms and trading markets.”
