Broadridge has promoted Bob Santangelo president of international sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Santangelo responsibilities will now include global sales management, business development and strategic client initiatives.

He will be based in Broadridge’s London office.

Prior to his promotion, Santangelo was senior vice president and was responsible for Broadridge’s global bank broker-dealer distribution channel in the New York office.

Santangelo joined Broadridge in 1992, when it was a division of ADP.

Chris Perry, president of global sales, marketing and client solutions at Broadridge, said: “Bob Santangelo has a proven track record of delivering for clients and has been a great team leader in identifying and developing our international sales associates.”

He added: “The EMEA and APAC markets represent exciting opportunities for Broadridge and Santangelo’s mandate in his new role is to focus on client opportunities in these regions and help clients be more efficient today and ready for the future.”

Santangelo commented: “I am focused on creating scale for our clients as Broadridge continues to innovate with technology solutions around blockchain, artificial intelligence, cloud and enhanced data and analytics.”
