Vekaria exits Credit Suisse

Head of Credit Suisse's Dublin branch Manish Vekaria has left the bank.

Vekaria, who joined Credit Suisse in 2007, was responsible for overseeing prime brokerage division for Europe, the Middle East, Africa.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Vekaria was managing director at Morgan Stanley for more than 11 years.

The investment bank opened its new trading floor in Dublin in January 2016.

The Dublin-based hub houses 100 members of staff, including 40 trading, risk and capital professional, and 60 support personnel.

A spokesman for the bank said: “Credit Suisse remains committed to its presence in Ireland, with strong connections to its global markets operations in London and New York.”

“A permanent branch manager for Credit Suisse AG Dublin Branch will be appointed in due course.”
