Exclusive: BNY Mellon promotes Simon Tomlinson

BNY Mellon has appointed Simon Tomlinson as head of trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Americas, agency securities finance, effective immediately.
The appointment comes after the departure of Robert Chiuch, as reported by Securities Lending Times earlier this week.
Chuich, who had worked at the bank since 2012, served as managing director, global head of equity and fixed income finance.
Tomlinson will report to Bill Kelly, managing director and global head of agency securities finance BNY Mellon Markets.
Tomlinson has been working at the bank for almost 14 years. He is also on the board of directors at the International Securities Lending Association.
