BTIG has hired Steven Stich within its prime brokerage division. Based in Dallas, Stich will report to Matthew Partain, managing director and head of prime brokerage sale.

In his new role, Stich will lead BTIG’s prime brokerage sales efforts across Texas and the Midwestern region of the US.

Most recently, Stich was the founder and CEO of a financial technology firm in Dallas.

Prior to this, he held several roles within the private client division of US Trust. Earlier in his career, Stich was a director within prime brokerage at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Justin Press, managing director and co-head of BTIG Prime Brokerage, commented: “We are excited about Steven Stich joining our team, and look forward to his contributions. Texas and the Midwest are strategically important markets for BTIG, and we believe that Stich will help us expand our footprint in the region.”
