Ahlner leaves BNY Mellon

BNY Mellon's head of clearance and collateral management for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Staffan Ahlner, has left.
The collateral management veteran spent 22 years at BNY Mellon in a variety of roles.
His most recent role, Ahlner spent two years heading up the optimisation and product market segments for EMEA and Asia Pacific (APAC).
Prior to that, he was managing director and head of product collateral management and global clearing, before then he was head of sales for EMEA and APAC.
He also served as vice president and head of product collateral management EMEA and APAC for eight years in 2000.
Ahlner started his career at Northern Trust Corporation in 1996 working in investment management liaison.
It has not been confirmed where Ahlner is heading.
