BCS Global hires Evelina Evtimova

BCS Global Markets has appointed Evelina Evtimova to lead its legal and compliance functions.
Evtimova will provide support across business lines and geographies, including Russia, the UK, the US, and Cyprus.
She will be responsible for streamlining controls, aligning policies and procedures across BCS Financial Group, as well as introducing new technology and leading legal and compliance projects and initiatives.
With more than 25 years in legal and compliance departments of Russian and global financial institutions, Evtimova most recently worked as country head of compliance at Sova Capital in Moscow. Prior to that, she served as head of legal at Barclays Capital.
In addition, Evtiomova has been in roles at Credit Suisse and Russian investment firm Aton.
She is also a current member of the Moscow Exchange’s legal committee.
