S&P Global Market Intelligence hires Ciaran Switonski as associate director of global regulatory solution sales.

Based in London, Switonski will report to Charlie Bedford-Forde, head of global regulatory reporting solutions sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He joins S&P Global from The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), where Switonski spent eight years in a number of senior positions, most recently as associate director of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

During this role, Switonski aided banks and other financial institutions in reducing costs and operational risks within their business operations, with a focus on the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation, G20 derivatives reporting and Uncleared Margin Rules requirements.

Prior to this, Switonski was the manager of global partners for EMEA between 2016 and 2018, after joining DTCC in 2013 as vendor sales and relationship manager.
