Geoffrey King joins Lord Abbett

Geoffrey King has been appointed G10 rates and derivatives trader at Lord Abbett.
Based in New York, he will report to Shane Magoon, global head of fixed income trading.
Bringing several years of experience in lending, repo and funding markets to the role, King was previously head of North American fixed income securities lending trading at Blackrock.
During his seven years with the firm, King held a number of senior positions including associate of North American rates trading and associate of financial markets advisory.
Within his roles at Blackrock, King was responsible for primary management over US government, US corporate and CAD government bond lending books, including oversight of all counterparty relationships and platform innovation for the global fixed income lending product.
