Protego Trust Bank adds to advisory board

Protego Trust Bank has appointed five new senior industry professionals to its advisory board, which now has 11 members.
The federally-chartered bank is purpose-built to exclusively serve the digital asset needs of institutional clients.
New board member Cris Conde currently serves as senior advisor to Accel Partners, Nyca Partners, Sumeru Equity Partners and TPG Capital. He previously co-founded fintech software business Devon Systems, and led its sale to SunGuard which he then ran and took private.
Jay Hooley currently serves on the boards of Exxon Mobil, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Aptiv and OnCorps. He is the former chairman and CEO of State Street Corporation.
Kelly Mathieson is chief client experience officer at Digital Asset. With more than 35 years’ experience in capital markets and securities services, she had a significant tenure at J.P. Morgan as global head of custody product, and global head of securities clearing and collateral management.
Bringing expertise on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and Web3, Sultan Meghji is senior advisor to Reciprocal Ventures, as well as a fellow at the George Mason National Security Institute and member of the Bretton Woods Committee. He most recently served as chief innovation officer at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Finally, Brian Shea currently serves on the boards of National Financial Information Services, Ameriprise Financial and the RBB Fund. Previous roles include vice chairman and CEO of investment services at BNY Mellon, and chairman and CEO of Pershing LLC.
