Eurex has appointed Maximilian Dannheimer to head of prime sales and fixed income and currency (FIC) derivatives and repo sales, after 13 years with the European derivatives exchange company.

Dannheimer will remain in Frankfurt for the role, where he will report to global co-head of FIC derivatives and repo sales Jens Quiram.

In this position, he will be responsible for enabling buy-side firms to benefit from Eurex’s fully integrated service portfolio, linking OTC interest rate derivatives, exchange-traded fixed income derivatives and foreign products to repo funding and financing sources.

Dannheimer joined Eurex in 2009 as sales and relationship manager, before moving into a number of senior roles including head of business development, exchange-traded derivatives and OTC clearing, and most recently, head of sales, foreign-exchange.
